I was never selected for Devon. No academy. No pathway. I didn't get picked up by Exeter Chiefs until I was 19 — and even then, nobody expected much.
What changed wasn't talent. It was having the right people around me, at the right time, who knew exactly what I needed to work on. That's what this is.
